Privacy Policy
Effective date: 22 July 2026
Vorburger Strategy Pty Ltd (ABN 60 692 177 969) ("Vorburger Strategy", "we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect personal information in connection with vorburger-strategy.com (the "Site") and our related business activities, and explains the rights available to you under applicable privacy law, including the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and, where relevant, the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR").
1. Scope of this Policy
This Policy applies to personal information we collect through the Site, through direct correspondence (email, phone, meetings), through our meeting-scheduling tool (Calendly), and in the course of providing or discussing our advisory and investment services with prospective and existing clients, partners, and contacts.
2. Who We Are
Vorburger Strategy Pty Ltd is the entity responsible for the personal information described in this Policy. Our contact details are at clause 14 below. For privacy enquiries, please mark correspondence "Attention: Privacy."
3. Personal Information We Collect
We may collect:
- contact details you provide (name, email address, phone number, employer, job title) when you contact us, subscribe to updates, or book a meeting;
- meeting and scheduling information processed through Calendly when you book a call with us;
- correspondence you send us, including the content of emails and any attachments;
- professional information sourced from publicly available business sources (such as LinkedIn or company websites) in the ordinary course of business development; and
- technical and usage information collected automatically when you browse the Site (such as IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, and referring pages), including via cookies — see our Policies page for details.
We do not knowingly collect sensitive information (as defined under the Privacy Act) through the Site, and we ask that you not send us sensitive information unless we have specifically requested it in the context of an active engagement.
4. How We Use Personal Information
We use personal information to: respond to enquiries and requests; schedule and conduct meetings; provide, discuss, and deliver our advisory, consulting, and investment services; maintain and develop our business relationships and partner network; send updates about our services where you have agreed to receive them; comply with our legal, accounting, and regulatory obligations; and improve and secure the Site.
5. Disclosure of Personal Information
We may disclose personal information to:
- service providers who support our operations, such as our email and productivity platform (Microsoft 365), scheduling tool (Calendly), and website hosting provider (Vercel);
- members of our partner network (for example, Roland Berger Expert Network, Interchina Consulting, Boson Capital, ACIA, or MadePartners), but only where relevant to a specific engagement or referral and, where practicable, with your knowledge;
- our professional advisers (such as accountants and lawyers) where necessary; and
- regulators, courts, or law enforcement, or as otherwise required or authorised by law.
We do not sell personal information.
6. Overseas Disclosure and Cross-Border Transfers
Because we work with clients and partners across Europe, the Asia-Pacific region, and the Americas, and because some of our service providers operate infrastructure outside Australia (including in the European Union, the United States, and other jurisdictions), personal information may be transferred to, stored in, or accessed from countries other than Australia. Where required, we take reasonable steps to ensure any overseas recipient handles personal information consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles or an equivalent standard, including by relying on the service provider's own compliance with applicable data protection law (such as the GDPR, where the provider is subject to it).
7. Data Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect personal information we hold from misuse, interference, loss, and unauthorised access, modification, or disclosure, including relying on the security measures of reputable service providers such as Microsoft 365 and Vercel. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Data Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, or as required by law (including tax and corporate record-keeping obligations), after which it is securely deleted or de-identified.
10. Your Rights — Australia
If the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) applies to you, you may request access to, and correction of, personal information we hold about you, subject to any applicable exceptions. If you have a concern about how we have handled your personal information, you may lodge a complaint with us using the contact details below, and if you are not satisfied with our response, you may refer your complaint to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.
11. Your Rights — European Economic Area and United Kingdom
If the GDPR applies to you, you have the right to: request access to your personal information; request correction or erasure of your personal information; request restriction of, or object to, our processing of your personal information; request portability of your personal information; and withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent.
Where we rely on legitimate interests as our legal basis for processing (for example, to respond to your enquiry or develop our business relationship), you may object to that processing on grounds relating to your particular situation. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority. To exercise any of these rights, please contact us using the details below.
12. Children's Privacy
The Site is directed at businesses and professionals and is not intended for, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from, children.
13. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or in applicable law. The version published on the Site applies, and material changes will be reflected by an updated "Effective date" above.
